Your responsibilities and tasks:

GEA Group Services GmbH in Düsseldorf takes over the corporate functions of GEA AG, including areas such as corporate finance, legal and IT, which provide central services for all company divisions. The location also houses the Digital HUB and the Center of Excellence (CoE).

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Functional Controller (f/m/d) for the location Düsseldorf as soon as possible.

  • Support decision-making by providing an increased transparency on financial and non-financial data for Global Operations

  • Prepare and analyze monthly cost center reports

  • Lead the planning and forecasting process

  • Perform deep-dive analysis based on (ad-hoc) requests from COO

  • Improve reporting procedures and increase transparency on functional costs

  • Increase the usability of the Transformation Management Office-Tool by implementing new reporting areas, dashboards, and support users

  • Support GEA-wide projects

  • Perform other functional controlling related tasks, such as headcount reporting and be responsible for management dashboards

  • Interact within Global Operations-organization, with global functions, and with external providers

Your profile and qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Economics, Finance/Accounting or equivalent

  • Minimum 2 years’ working experience in Controlling or equivalent

  • Experience in working in virtual teams in international business environment

  • Experience with Microsoft applications, SAP, and PowerBI

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to handle different stakeholders and achieve results in a team

  • Fluent in English and German
