Could you be the fulltime Product Introduction Controller (f/m/d) in Hennigsdorf we’re looking for?

 

Your Future Role

2,100 colleagues from 46 countries, including 800 engineers, shape in Hennigsdorf the future of rail mobility. The locally developed, manufactured, and maintained product range includes high-speed, regional, and local trains, subways, as well as trams and light rail vehicles. Our general management ensures that Alstom continues to grow and become more successful. You’ll report to Samer Ammari, the Senior Manager Finance Services Germany & Austria and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team.

 

We’ll look for you to :

  • Preparation of LPR/RPR & MPR documents by using SAP GSI and ODY-C /Adel (Alstom Project-Management-Tools) and ensure that the project finance situation as reported in FPR/RPR & MPR is accurate and sincere in respect with Alstom rules
  • Verification Contract Data Base
  • Preparation of Budget & Forecast of individual projects and Cost Centers, cash follow-up, accounting milestones
  • Meeting / compliance of financial results of the projects
  • POH and SOH controlling responsible for the Warranty Cost Centers under Managing Unit Product Introduction.
  • Execute the month end and year end closing process for MU PI. Be the SPOC and MU PI coordinator for the closing process.
  • Controlling the project results through close involvement with the Project Manager and Cost Center Owner and ensure full use of the risk and opportunities management tool
  • Ensuring customer invoicing/Internal invoicing is done as soon as possible and play an active role in achieving payment from customer in the due time
  • Specifically follow-up the implementation of cash improvement actions and promote the cash culture in the project
  • Respecting the Alstom Transport Project processes/guidelines and tools
  • Challenge the CTC in order to maximize the project margin
  • Controlling of the project budget for plausibility and timely detection of crucial developments as well as information and implementation of actions with Work Package Owner & Controller
  • Participating in the Project Steering Committee, risk analysis meetings and all decision-making concerning financial or contractual aspects of the project
  • Reviewing the Contract Database data from sites and ensure compliance with last review data
  • Ensuring the necessary conditions for achievement of the Project’s financial targets
  • Supporting the economic and financial advisor to the Project Manager and the Cost Center Owner.
  • Preparing, along with the PM, the periodic Project Reviews, including the Project Cost Monitoring and provide all the relevant financial analysis

  • General technical understanding
  • Knowledge of cost carrier accounting, general accounting, cost type, delivery- and payment-conditions
  • SAP knowledge
  • MS-office, in particular EXCEL
  • Languages required English and German
