Job Description

Your influential mission. You will...

  • Document and translate business needs, and conduct stakeholder analysis.
  • Elicit project and business requirements, and lead requirements review.
  • Act as an interface between development/support teams and client/requestor.
  • Assist at various levels of the project and help in task analysis.
  • Document the projects by preparing functional specification documents and interface guides for the reference of end users.
  • Work with the test team to ensure sufficient coverage.

Qualifications

Components for success. You...

  • Possess a BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Have 3+ years of experience working in IT, particularly with complex backend systems.
  • Demonstrate proven experience in eliciting requirements and testing.
  • Possess knowledge of UML diagrams.
  • Have an understanding of basic software architecture principles.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of client-server architecture.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of HTTP and WS protocols.
  • Have experience in describing interfaces and interactions between system components.
  • Possess solid experience in conducting technical discussions.

GPAS TEAM
Gaming Platform as a Service (GPAS) is Playtech’s exclusive distributed games delivery platform, currently hosting over 700 games. GPAS is a highly accessible, multi-tenant, scalable, distributed, and event-driven system written in Scala, utilizing the Pekko framework. We use Couchbase for hot storage and AWS S3/DynamoDB for cold storage, enabling us to handle nearly a billion transactions per day. Our complex solution supports a variety of slot and multiplayer games, with an architecture designed to extend support to other game types. We adopt the Scrum methodology to deliver new features on time.
