Your Tasks

You analyse, conceptualise, implement and coordinate software changes in IT systems in close coordination with business analysts, system managers, developers and internal system users from the Group Finance department.

  • Taking on a coordinating interface role between Group Finance and software development
  • Participating in projects with a focus on implementation of a new consolidation tool
  • Analysis and system-side realisation (customising) of specialist requirements in consolidation systems 
  • Data-related and processual analysis of consolidation in preparation for implementation of a new consolidation tool 
  • Process design and optimisation (redesign) through methodological and analytical moderation
  • Dealing with specialist requests and troubleshooting in the context of day-to-day business

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in business IT, business administration or comparable qualification with relevant professional experience or completed Master's degree
  • Initial professional experience or internships in the financial services sector, ideally in the insurance industry
  • Keen interest in processes associated with external accounting (national and international GAAP) and controlling as well as in matters of IT strategy
  • Ideally, initial know-how acquired in the field of consolidation with a close bearing on IT 
  • Proficient user skills in German and English (at least level C1)
  • Willingness to go on occasional business trips, roughly once or twice a year
