Working Student Data Engineering
Let's connect: If you want to experience how things are done in the Business Automation & Support team at our headquarters in Hanover / Germany, join us on a temporary, part-time basis (roughly 15 HPW) for 6 months, commencing as soon as possible as a Working Student Data Engineering. #MINT
You can look forward to
- Testing of centralised orchestration of internal reports and data pipelines
- Evaluation of different orchestration tools on a Python and cloud infrastructure
- Comparison of the tools with a focus on costs / benefits and scalability
- Impact analysis on existing processes
- Setting up an orchestration tool in the cloud for testing
- Implementation of batch and event pipelines
- Close collaboration on architecture development in Hanover
You come equipped with
- Advanced stage of a degree in computer science / business IT
- Proficient user skills in Python and SQL necessary
- Knowledge of data integration from APIs, databases, flat files, event streaming desirable
- Interest in working with different orchestration tools (e.g. Airflow)
- Motivation to familiarise yourself with new topics and to be involved right from the start
- Proficient user skills in German and English required
- Structured way of working as well as good presentation and communication skills
