JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The Process Consultant (Global Innovate to Market) is central to the global implementation and localization of the S/4 system, requiring a balance between adhering to global standards and adapting to unique regional needs. This role demands strong project management and process mapping skills, essential for overseeing complex, multinational projects. They will play a crucial role in harmonizing our technological initiatives and processes across the globe, ensuring alignment with both global strategies and specific local operational needs.


JOB DESCRIPTION DETAILS

  • Act as a regional lead in the comprehensive module management of SAP PLM, providing expertise and assistance on a global scale to ensure holistic integration and alignment across all regions.
  • Conduct global process analyses and optimizations in close collaboration with various business departments, focusing on enhancing efficiency and effectiveness in line with international standards, while ensuring regional needs and contributions are integrated.
  • Collaborate on design and implement global business processes in SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC within the SAP Product Lifecycle Management area, including independent customizing and close coordination with developers worldwide, with a focus on regional adaptation and global consistency.
  • Lead global SAP projects, such as implementations, migrations, and country-specific roll-outs, ensuring seamless execution from conception to go-live, with a special emphasis on aligning global strategies with regional execution
  • Provide global user support through 1st and 2nd level support, ensuring consistent and effective use of systems across all regions, while incorporating regional feedback and requirements.
  • Develop, maintain, and update global process documentation, such as SOPs, work instructions, and process maps.
  • Conduct comprehensive global process audits, identify improvement areas, and ensure adherence to established procedures.
  • Collaborate with international teams to identify and optimize process bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
  • Analyze global process performance metrics and KPIs, driving continuous improvement across multiple regions.
  • Serve as a global subject matter expert, offering training, support, and acting as the primary contact for process-related queries.
  • Work with stakeholders to develop and implement universally applicable process-related policies and guidelines.
  • Foster a culture of process excellence and continuous improvement, encouraging a global mindset among team members.
  • Will be required to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Performs other duties as required and/or assigned


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Expert knowledge of MS Excel (Power Query, BW/AFO, macros)
  • Advanced knowledge of PowerBI & Snowflake (data consolidation, visualization)
  • Deep understanding of MRP/ERP systems (SAP required)
  • Working experience with S&OP advanced planning solution (such as SAP IBP, etc)
  • Experience working for a manufacturing company/within a manufacturing environment
  • Professional competence in Material Management, applied globally.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP PLM module, including customizing and ECTR, with global applicability.
  • Experience in leading international rollouts, with an understanding of regional nuances.
  • Strong knowledge of other SAP modules and their global integration.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • German language proficiency is a significant plus, given the role's likely interaction with German-speaking stakeholders or regions.
  • Familiarity with Change Management: Understanding of change management principles and practices, crucial for guiding and facilitating changes in global processes and systems.

 

Education, Certification/License & Work Experience

  • 10 years of relevant working experience within SAP
  • 2 Go-Lives of SAP S/4 HANA, preferred
  • Experience with at least one end-to-end SAP S/4 HANA implementation 
  • SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP PLM: Validates expertise in SAP Product Lifecycle Management solution, focusing on implementation and configuration.
  • SAP S/4HANA Certifications: Specific certifications for SAP S/4HANA, showcasing expertise in various S/4HANA modules relevant to the role.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
  • ITIL Certification: Particularly at the Foundation and Practitioner levels, for process management and service lifecycle management.
  • Six Sigma Certification: Green Belt or Black Belt certification for process improvement and quality management.

Total Rewards Package:

Compensation

  • Base: $133,000 to $182,000 annually, based on specific compensable factors including, but not limited to education, work experience, and geographic market.
  • Bonus: This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.
