Our Internal Audit team plays a crucial role in this mission, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and risk management across our organization. Internal Audit is an independent function established up by the Management Board of UniCredit Bank Austria to assist the Bank in achieving its strategic objectives.
To strengthen the Internal Audit department, we are currently looking for a Senior Auditor with expertise in data analytics for our Governance Process Audit unit, which conducts audits with focus on governance aspects including finance, people and culture, regulatory reporting and in area of compliance.
What you'll be doing
- You will be responsible for compliance with UniCredit Group internal audit regulations and audit requirements.
- Collaboration on group-wide audit activities by working with international colleagues across the entire UniCredit Group
- Advising our stakeholders in the area of auditing.
- Reporting on the results in accordance with the strategic annual plan within the specified time frame.
- Conducting risk-based analyses of the audited areas using advanced data analytics techniques and tools.
- Conducting audits in UniCredit Bank Austria, local subsidiaries, and the bank`s internal/external service providers.
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum 3-4 years audit experience (internal audit in a bank or other relevant experience).
- Experience and/or expertise in finance, accounting, ESG, risk management or any other relevant area of governance for a bank.
- Expertise and experience in Compliance topics such as Anti-Money Laundering, financial sanctions, GDPR or MiFID.
- Experience in working with data, statistics and using data analytics tools and techniques (e.g. process mining, machine learning, ...).
- Analytical and critical thinking.
- Convincing demeanor, ability to work in a team, flexibility, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Very good communication skills in English
- German language skills (Minimumlevel B2)
- Relevant certifications and/or willingness to complete an external certification (e.g. Certified Internal Auditor, CAMS etc).

- In line with the market, we offer an annual salary of at least EUR 80.000,- gross depending on specific experience, education and qualifications. We offer significant overpay due to professional experience and track record.
