The Impact You’ll Make
Designs, develops, modifies and integrates computer-controlled electronic and mechanical systems for the automation of industrial tasks and enhancement of manufacturing, processing or production equipment. Applies advanced electronic control systems, designs and assists in the manufacture of consumer products and in the development of new electro-mechanical concepts for new product lines. Responsible for assembling components, preparing test plans and supporting testing and validation of products.
What You’ll Do
- Create test specifications for step response tests and perform related data evaluation
- Creation of physical models within Simulink
- Perform simulation studies for customer & program development requests
- Present relevant material in design, and project reviews
- Support closed loop control designs to meet e.g. tighter flow or temperature specifications and evaluate its performance
- Drive root cause analysis in case of customer escalations
Who We’re Looking For
- FH or University degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, telematics or a related technical field
- At least two years of professional experience in related field
- Experience in programming language Matlab & Matlab/Simulink is mandatory
- Experience on physical modelling to set up simulations is required
- Understanding of physical system behavior and the related system theory
- Very good oral and written communication skills in English
- Technical understanding and good problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and focus on detail also with changing priorities
- Professional presentation skills
What We´re Offering
This position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) for Employees in the Metal Technology Industry in occupation group F depending on education. A higher payment is negotiable depending on education, expertise and skills. The monthly salary is paid 14 times per year.
