The Impact You’ll Make

As a Mechanical Engineer at Lam, you're designing and defining cutting-edge mechanical and electro-mechanical systems. Your role involves feasibility studies, testing, and guiding teams in detailed design and fabrication. You provide the crucial design information needed to shape our technology's packaging.

What You’ll Do

  • Accountable for development, verification and documentation of fluid delivery systems to meet the systems specifications.
  • Provides concepts and technical designs for chemical fluid systems based on modeling & calculation data.
  • Accountable that system meets all engineering requirements regarding Compliance and Safety Standards.
  • Clarification of fluid delivery requirements.
  • Owns execution of BOM and documentation release plan.
  • Technical response to meet all interface requirements with other modules and environment.
  • Prepare all required deliverables based on product development plan (e.g. FMEA, technical specifications, risk analyses).
  • Close relationship to our suppliers an internal departments to ensure that we receive high quality-, well tested and cost saving solutions for our technical needs.
  • Performs engineering data analysis of mechanical and electrical aspects of the system by using of appropriate methods and tools (e.g. MATLAB, LabVIEW …).

Who We’re Looking For

  • Technical High School (HTL) in Mechanical or Fluid Engineering minimum required.
  • Work experience minimum 3 years.
  • Demonstrate significant technical independence and leadership in development of fluid system applications and safety standards.
  • Strong analyzing skills and numerical ability.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Inventor or NX (or similar CAD software) is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Industrial experience with controlling of liquid temperature, hydraulics, etc. is a plus.
  • Technical knowledge of fluid related simulations/calculations is beneficial.
  • Willingness to travel
  • Good knowledge in MS Office

 

  • Excellent communication, both written and verbal, and technical presentation skills.
  • Experience in Semiconductor industry is a plus.
  • Experience in project management, or problem solving while managing time and multiple priorities.

What We're Offering

This position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement for employees in the Metal Technology Industries in occupation group E. A higher payment is negotiable depending on education, expertise and skills. Please follow the link on the below section "Employment in Austria" for further information.

Employment in Austria

This position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) for Employees in the Metal Technology Industry. A higher payment is negotiable depending on expertise, education, and skills. The monthly salary is paid 14 times per year.
